Scion
Marque Guidelines
Scion is owned by the Toyoto Motor Corporation which was founded in 2003 since its first introduction at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Scion's long term goal has been to appeal to Generation Y consumers, but has appealed to a much larger consumer market. Toyota in conjunction with The Attik began a new campaign for Scion by using guerrilla marketing using posters and advertisements in movie theaters and TV to direct consumers to different micro web-sites. In order to achieve consistency across these guerrilla campaigns Scion needed to have a unique brand that users could quickly identify as the Scion brand. Scion Marque Guidelines helps organize, plan, develop and catalogue rules and guidelines for establishing the Scion brand. Color palettes, fonts, logos, print examples and anything and everything to do with Scion is catalogued in this guidebook. Designers, advertisers, and media companies can quickly and easily refer to this guidebook for questions they might have on how to publish or position the Scion brand in their perspective region.
