These are some landscapes that I've been working on. Since I've tried breaking out the oiI paints with minimal success these are a result of that failed attempt by using the computer to convey my imagery and thoughts. Most of these images will be posted on jpgaday.com.

I believe it's a beginning of a new series of work that I want to produce and exhibit. These are based on similar themes that I've worked on in the past, dreaming and lucid state of mind are primary inspirations for these pieces. The "ethereal plane" is a word combination that keeps coming to mind.

I don't feel using the computer to convey your thoughts/ideas is in anyway "cheating." I've been inspired by quite a bit of landscape painters lately and wanted to try and take a "spin" on those artists. (Thomas Cole, Frederic Edwin Church, Albert Bierstadt). I feel there is a lot that hasn't been explored and wanted to push landscapes a bit further. Since I can't seem to progress as an oil painter.
